Street Wear Shoes

SPRING COURT PREVIEW

French brand Spring Court have shown off their breezy edition of new summer styles. Established in 1936 when founder Georges Grimmeisen made the first ever shoe with a cotton upper and vulcanized outsole, Spring Court has grown to become a cult brand who win heart of his customer by the likes of the late John Lennon, Orlando Bloom and Kate Moss. Still a family owned business, Spring Court’s traditional tennis-style shoes has not changed much over the past seventy-two years.

NIKE DUNK HI ND X CASSETTE PLAYAR

Foot Locker are moving with the times and employing a host of ‘indie’ designers to collaborate on ideas for existing sneaker models. Giving each silhouette a new spin and allowing limited collaboration pieces more easily accessible to the sneaker consumer, Foot Locker have brought Carrie Mundane aka Cassette Playa on board for their first ND sneaker. Lacing her Dunk Hi with the spacey Aztec imagery of her clothing line, it’s a far cry from the more tonal Blazer she produced with Nike Sportswear last year. The Dunk will be available at Foot Locker and House Of Hoops this October. Images courtesy of Foot Locker Unlocked.

VANS V-79 X SUPREME X MALCOLM MCLAREN

Back in ‘83, way before anyone knew what a ‘box logo' or five-panel cap was, British rocker Malcolm McLaren launched a groundbreaking opus called ‘Duck Rock', heavily featuring NY's World Famous Supreme Team. Crab-scratching forward to 2009, skate brand Supreme has finally paid respect to the man that influenced not only an entire generation, but also a team of skaters that thrived for that same supremacy! Teaming up with the British entrepreneur and paying homage to McLaren's distinct artwork from the seminal album cover art, the crew have banged out a trifecta of fluoro Vans V-79 skate shoes. With the inner sock liner popping off so nice, it looks like we may have to hit-up a hook-up for these Buffalo Girls! Dropping instore and online Thursday, May 21st in the US and on May 23rd in Japan
